Hot Rod and Vehicle Design Portfolio
This is a sampling of just a few of my custom car design projects.
Client: Maxximus Technologies
Project: Prodigy LNG Supercar vehicle renderings
I designed this concept for supercar builder Marlon Kirby of Maxximus Technologies . Inspiration came primarily from the front of the Audi R10's and the side of the Mazda Furai concept car. Using these cues in my vision and design, I created the overall concept renderings pictured here. The interior was designed around specific parameters including the seats, carbon fiber and burled wood construction, and navigational system. Maxximus Technologies also presented me with the project of creating the vehicle's signature badge. The Prodigy is slated to be the world's first natural gas powdered supercar, with an estimated 2000hp. You may read more about Marlon Kirby's Prodigy project, as well as some of his recent world records here.

Client: Bob Hancock
Project: 1938 Graham "Sharknose" Delivery
The idea was to build a delivery vehicle based off of a 1938 Graham model. The rear half of the vehicle was modified using rear panels of a 1940 Chevy delivery and a hatch designed around the '38 Sharknose sedan. Along with the hatch, my design ideas include a new lower panel with extruded exhaust and split bumpers, which are carried over to the front of the vehicle. I provided the client several concept sketches during the course of the design to help guide his project until we came up with the completed design for his build.

Client: Superior Autoworks
Project: 1963 Nova "Atomic Bomb"
This is a full custom Nova built by Ed Denkenberger of Superior Autoworks for Ronson Burton. The interior was designed through a collaboration between Ronson, Superior Autoworks, and myself. We decided to use lines from the hood and headlight bezels in the final design and to two-tone the finished project. Ed brought me on site to assist in creating a custom air cleaner cover that mimicked the style of the Nova. I fabricated the mold for the air cleaner cover using high density foam that I carved by hand. Superior Autoworks fiber-glassed, finished, and assembled the air breather using my mold. This vehicle eventually went on to earn a place among the Great 8 for the 2012 Ridler Award at Autorama in Detroit.

Client: Rodger Green
Project: 1960's Silhouette II Space Coupe concept car rendering
This car was the creation of Bill Cushenberry in the mid-1960's. Sadly, the car was shuffled around and lost until recently. Now, the plan is to fully restore and finish the concept car to complete the vision that Bill had dreamed up so many years ago. Though no design credit shall go to myself, I did have the pleasure of drawing a final concept rendering of this vehicle to help kick-start the campaign of restoring this significant design.

Client: StarCraft Bus
Project: Quest XL Bus concept drawings
The idea for this concept was to create a short-nosed bus utilizing the hood and nose proportions of a postal truck. The design needed to blend into a pre-built bus body and included the use of Chevrolet Tahoe headlights.
