I am a professional freelance transportation designer and illustrator based in Akron, Ohio. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. My expertise spans from conceptual sketching and illustration to hands-on fabrication in hot rod design, though my primary focus and passion remain in the artwork itself. I have had the opportunity to work with many different companies designing various types of transportation including trolleys, school buses and city buses, super cars, Cesnas and even a pirate ship on a tractor trailer bed! I’ve even done designs for celebrities and major car companies. And of course, my passion and bread and butter are the countless custom hot rods done for builders and owners all over the world. I love helping car builders and their clients create the car of their dreams and many of my collaborated design projects have gone on to be award-winning cars.

My lifelong love of cars began in childhood, collecting Hot Wheels and building model cars. Today, I continue that passion as an avid collector and active member of the Northeast Ohio Diecast Club. I have been featured in Hot Rodding Magazine as well as selected as the featured artist for the March 2014 Truckin’ Magazine Radical Renderings. My journey into project cars began with a 1982 Pontiac Firebird, a car I later parted with for a 1978 Bandit Edition Trans Am.

I am an old school artist and all of my renderings start off as sketches and then either traditionally rendered out on paper with markers and chalks or go on to be digitally rendered. Digitally airbrushing sketches is a craft I have taught myself and have been perfecting for 20 years.
